VoIP, or Voice over Internet Protocol, is an increasingly popular option for businesses looking for an affordable and feature-rich telecommunications solution. Our VoIP service allows you to make and receive phone calls over the internet, often at a lower cost than traditional phone services. It also offers features like voicemail transcription, call forwarding, and virtual phone numbers, making it a flexible and convenient option for businesses of all sizes. With us you also aren't limited to one kind of phone like with older, more expensive options.

To use our services, you'll need a reliable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to support your call volume. The exact internet requirements will depend on the number of users and the types of calls you'll be making, but as a general rule, you'll want a connection with at least 100 kbps of bandwidth per user. Most modern broadband and DSL internet connections have more than enough bandwidth to handle a large amount of extensions

Yes. You can transfer your existing phone number to our service, a process known as number porting. A document called the ``LOA``, or Letter Of Authority is required to be signed by you allowing us to begin the porting process. the porting process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to complete, depending on your provider and the complexity of your phone system. The FCC has a guide on number porting that you may find helpful, which you can find at this link: https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/porting-keeping-your-phone-number-when-you-change-providers.

We offer a wide range of phones from basic to highly sophisticated and they're all compatible with each other. So you can have one model of phone for a certain purpose, while having higher end models for other purposes. You're able to upgrade your phones either one at a time or all at once without losing any functionality. We also offer accessories such as wireless headsets, sidecars, and much more.

In most cases, no. Our systems typically use your existing internet connection to transmit calls, so there's no need for special wiring or hardware. In fact, as long as your computers are hardwired you can use the existing ethernet cable to plug into the phone, then plug another ethernet cable from the phone back into your computer, thereby not needing to run additional wiring. A wired broadband connection is generally recommended over a wireless connection for increased stability and reliability but wireless options are available.

In the case of a network outage, natural disaster or other events that impact your internet you can have “Failover” enabled. This means that when your internet connection to your phones drops, the calls will be automatically routed to another phone number, such as a cell phone or another location.

In most cases you won't experience any downtime at all. In a few, very rare cases you can experience as much as an hour. These details are worked out long before switching to our service to make the transition as smooth as possible.

You can send and receive texts to most computers and mobile devices. We'll walk you through the vetting process required by all major carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) to send texts across their networks. Approval takes as little as 48 hours or as long as 15 days, then you'll be able to send and receive messages.

With us, your phone number is tied to your account, not to a physical location. This means that you can take your phone number with you when you move, as long as you have an internet connection at your new location. You'll need to update your address with us to ensure that emergency services (e911) can locate you in the event of an emergency.

E911, or Enhanced 911, is a feature that allows emergency services to automatically locate the origin of a 911 call. This is an important safety feature, as it ensures that emergency services can quickly respond to calls for help. When setting up your VoIP service be sure to provide your physical address so that your provider can ensure that emergency services can locate you in the event of an emergency.

Our systems are designed to be scalable, meaning that you can add additional users or lines as your business grows.
